Kevin Bigart, Md

Primary and Revision Hip and Knee Replacement

Introduction

Dr. Kevin Bigart joined Parkview Orthopaedic Group in September 2019. He is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in primary and revision hip and knee replacements using modern, minimally invasive, muscle-preserving techniques.

Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Dr. Bigart moved to Cleveland, Ohio to attend college at Case Western Reserve University. He graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and was an Academic, All-American soccer player. He was inducted into the university’s athletic hall of fame in October 2019.

Dr. Bigart completed his medical degree at Case Western Reserve in 2013, followed by his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. He then completed additional fellowship training in hip and knee reconstruction surgery at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush University in Chicago. Dr. Bigart has published several peer-review articles and book chapters in various areas of adult reconstruction.

Dr. Bigart is devoting his career to hip and knee replacement surgery because of the incredible quality of life it can provide for his patients. His additional specialized training has helped refine his skills and provides him with a unique perspective to help patients whose previous surgeries may not have gone as well as intended.

Today, Dr. Bigart resides in the western suburbs of Chicago with his wife, three children, and two dogs. He enjoys time with his family, travel, and being in the outdoors.

He is accepting new patients in our New Lenox and Joliet office locations.
